Access Granted: Chatgpt’s Top Tool is Now Free but With a Hidden Twist

The hidden twist? You only get five uses of Deep Research per month Deep Research, the research agent inside ChatGPT, is finally coming to free tier users. However, there are some minor differences. The new version of the popular research tool is not exactly the same as the one currently enjoyed by Pro, Plus, Teams and Enterprise users. The new Deep Research, which is rolling out to all free-tier users starting from today, is described by OpenAI as ‘lightweight’. It’s powered by a version of ChatGPT o4-mini in contrast to the existing Deep Research, which is powered by a version of ChatGPT-o3. OpenAI describes the new lightweight Deep Research as “nearly as intelligent as the Deep Research people already know and love, while being significantly cheaper to serve.” In a tweet on the subject OpenAI shared a graph showing accuracy rates for the new lightweight Deep Research compared to the original Deep Research and the o3 model. The bad news is that free-tier users are going to be restricted to five uses per month, so don’t click the Deep Research button (when you get it) unless you really need to use it. A graph showing the accuracy of the new […]

In the era of AI, everything is advancing rapidly, and among the latest innovations is Manus AI. This AI agent, developed by the startup Monica, is changing the way machines interact with the web and perform tasks autonomously. While traditional AI chatbots provide answers to queries, Manus goes beyond that as the meta-AI drafts, researches, and completes complex assignments independently of a human. As China seeks to lead the world in the global AI arms race, Manus is already being compared to some of the industry’s leading AI models, such as those from OpenAI and Google. What is Manus? Manus is a general-purpose AI agent that can complete real-world tasks for you autonomously. Instead of just answering questions, it determines an entire process. If you ask it to write a report about climate change, for example, Manus won’t just give you facts — it will research, draft a detailed report, create charts and then format it into a polished document. This hands-free method of completing tasks is a massive leap forward for AI-powered productivity. What Sets Manus Apart? Why Your FAQ Page Is Now Your Most Important Local SEO Asset

Summary What Changed in Local Search in 2026? The rules of local search just changed – again! Most local businesses treat their FAQ page like a box-ticking exercise. A few generic questions sit buried at the bottom of a service page, updated once and forgotten. That approach made sense when search was primarily keyword-matching. It does not make sense anymore. AI now acts as the intermediary between your business and your customer. Google Maps answers questions about your business before a visitor ever lands on your website. ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Gemini synthesise business information from whatever they can find. Thin, generic, or inconsistent FAQ content creates gaps. AI fills those gaps with someone else’s version of your business. A well-built FAQ strategy is no longer optional. It determines whether AI features represent your business accurately, or represent it at all. What Is Happening in AI-Driven Local Search Right Now? Understanding current features makes the urgency clear. Google Maps now includes an “Ask Maps about this place” feature. Users can ask questions directly about a business inside the app. Suggested prompts appear automatically, and custom queries are supported. When no answer exists, the system tells users that not enough information is […]

Using Claude in 2026: Why It’s Becoming the AI Tool Professionals Actually Trust

Summary: Something Shifted in the AI Market This Year Millions of users made the same decision in early 2026: they cancelled their ChatGPT subscriptions and opened Claude for the first time. Some came for ethical reasons. Many came out of curiosity. Most stayed because the work they needed to do simply got done faster, with less friction, and with outputs that did not need an hour of editing before they were usable. Understanding why that shift happened, and what Claude actually makes possible in 2026, matters whether you are evaluating AI tools for your team or just trying to get more done in your working day. Why Are So Many People Switching from ChatGPT to Claude Right Now? The migration started with a headline but was sustained by something more practical. The tipping point arrived when Anthropic refused to allow the Department of Defence to use its AI models for mass domestic surveillance or fully autonomous weapons. Hours later, OpenAI announced its own agreement with the Pentagon, and the contrast was stark. Users who cared about how AI companies behave, not just what their models can do, took notice. Claude surged to the top of Apple’s US App Store free […]

Do Keywords Still Matter in 2026? A Practical Guide to Modern SEO

Summary What Has Changed About Keywords in 2026? Search engines no longer depend on exact keyword matches alone. Algorithms now understand meaning, context, and user behaviour with remarkable accuracy. Older SEO strategies focused heavily on repetition. Content creators once tried to rank by placing the same keyword multiple times across a page. That method no longer works. Modern SEO evaluates: Content that answers questions clearly tends to perform better than content that simply repeats keywords. Do Keywords Still Matter for SEO? Keywords still play an essential role in SEO. Their purpose has shifted from targeting search engines to understanding users. Keyword research helps identify: A strong keyword strategy builds the foundation of any content plan. Search engines still rely on keywords to interpret content, even with advanced AI systems in place. Keywords act as signals. Content without clear keyword relevance often struggles to rank. Why Are Keywords Important in Modern SEO? Keywords remain important because they connect user queries with relevant content. Every search begins with a word or phrase. Three key reasons explain their importance: 1. Keywords Reveal User Intent Search queries reflect real user needs. Clear patterns emerge through keyword data. 2. Read the Room: How OpenAI is Fixing the “Annoying Ad” Problem

It’s February 2026, and the rumours are finally true: ChatGPT has officially entered its ad era.  If you’ve been using ChatGPT as your private, ad-free space for the last few years, things are changing. OpenAI has shifted from a subscription-only model to a hybrid system. Think of it as moving from premium cable to everything else.  Here’s what’s happening, why your chat interface looks a little different, and why marketers are excited in February about ChatGPT. How does it work? First, the robots haven’t been bought. ChatGPT is committed to its anti-influence rule. If you ask for the best coffee machine, the AI won’t mislead you just because a brand paid for it. Its core, the training data, remains mostly pure.   Instead, we’re seeing conversational advertising. Here’s what to know about the new tiers:   The Tiers: Paid tiers (Plus, Team, Enterprise) remain ad-free, meaning brands lose direct access to high-spending power users in exchange for reach among the broader “Go” and Free audience in ChatGPT.   The Format: Forget those flashy ‘You Won An iPad’ banners from 2005. These are contextual sponsored links. They usually appear at the end of a response or in a neat Sponsored section. It feels more […]

Why Generative Engine Optimisation Should Be Your New Priority?

The shift from traditional Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) to Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO) is the biggest change in digital discovery since hyperlinks were introduced. By 2026, AI engines like Gemini, Perplexity, and ChatGPT have progressed from just listing URLs to offering direct, synthesised answers. To stay visible, brands must make their content easy for Large Language Models (LLMs) to read and establish themselves as credible sources. What Is the Difference Between Traditional SEO and GEO?   SEO emphasises keywords and backlinks. In contrast, GEO focuses on brand sentiment and information synthesis. AI engines assess the overall presence of your brand across the web, rather than simply ranking pages. Why Is Conversational Search Replacing Keyword Queries?   Modern search habits have shifted from fragmented keywords to Natural Language Queries (NLQ). Instead of searching for “best coffee Kochi,” users ask, “Which quiet coffee shops in Fort Kochi have high-speed Wi-Fi and vegan-friendly snacks?” Industry data shows that AI-driven search results influence 40% of adult buying decisions. Content needs to be crafted to answer these layered, specific questions to get noticed by generative snapshots. How Can Brands Build Authority for AI Models?   Generative engines rely on verified facts and expert opinions. To improve your content […]
